YENNEY

Two sisters, one kitchen

YENNEY brings the Hanoi our family grew up with to the centre of Singapore.

How it began

One of us designs clothes. The other designs gardens. Neither of us trained as a chef, but every dish on our menu started at our family table in Vietnam. When we moved to Singapore, we missed the food of home enough to build a kitchen around it.

That mix of crafts shaped YENNEY. The fashion designer's eye is in the plating and the paper lanterns. The landscape architect's hand is in the living moss wall that greets you at the door. The recipes belong to our mother.

A message from our founder

"Hanoi taught me that a good meal is quiet generosity. We cook slowly, season honestly, and treat every guest like family visiting from far away."

Crystal Nguyen, Founder of YENNEY

What we stand for

Made in-house

Broths simmer overnight, baguettes are baked fresh, and herbs arrive daily. Nothing comes out of a packet.

Hanoi, not a theme

Northern Vietnamese cooking is lighter and more herbal than most of what Singapore knows. We keep it true to the source.

A calm room in the CBD

Moss, wood and lantern light. A place to slow down between meetings, or to linger after them.
